Nantucket’s record path is split among several agencies. Use the arresting police department for an island booking record, the Nantucket Sheriff for transport records, Barnstable County for correctional custody after transfer, and the courts for the final case result.

- For a recent arrest, start with Nantucket Police because no official county booking feed was found.
- For correctional custody after transfer, contact Barnstable County Correctional Facility.

- For federal or immigration custody, use the official BOP or ICE locator.

Barnstable Correctional Custody
After transfer from Nantucket, the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office may hold correctional intake, custody, release, and facility-photo records. Its public-records page recommends a written request to the Records Access Officer.
